Should I book an initial consultation or follow-up appointment?

- Initial consultation & treatment - Please book this appointment if you are a self-referred new patient, as we need to assess if your condition if suitable for shockwave therapy.

- Shockwave Treatment - Please book this appointment if you have been referred by a clinician at Pro Performance or an external clinic.

How many sessions will I need?

- Shockwave usually requires 4-8 sessions at weekly intervals to maximise success. Your clinician will discuss this with you in full at your first session.

What if I am not suitable for shockwave therapy? Will I still get a different treatment?

- Yes, if shockwave isn't appropriate for you, then we will provide a comprehensive new patient assessment and recovery plan and give you an alternative treatment options.

Dr Edward Timings (Doctor of Chiropractic) has spent 20 years as the high-performance chiropractor at the New Zealand Institute of Sport and Health in Auckland, working with New Zealand’s top athletes from All Blacks, Olympic gold medallists and world champions, travelling to Europe with teams whilst running his private practice.
