Dr Edward Timings (Doctor of Chiropractic) has spent 20 years as the high-performance chiropractor at the New Zealand Institute of Sport and Health in Auckland, working with New Zealand’s top athletes from All Blacks, Olympic gold medallists and world champions, travelling to Europe with teams whilst running his private practice.
Ed’s vision is to provide “elite care for all” and to help patients understand how their bodies function and the role they can play through knowledge and motivation, so he recently completed a diploma in Health Coaching specialising in Advanced Mental Health and Advanced Nutrition.
Working in London is a dream fulfilled and he hopes to combine his love of the outdoors as an avid cyclist and lover of the arts. Edward has lectured throughout the Pacific and the world as one of New Zealand’s celebrity health speakers.
With health and well-being in danger of being an impersonal industry. Ed is refreshingly a mentor who embodies his own philosophy on life, working with athletes and medical teams, recognising the challenges we all face with aging bodies, not only from injuries, but also from the demands of busy lives.
Ed states that we all need to work hard to perform at our best and teaches how to improve our lives; How we walk, how we sit, stand, breathe and move. Once you achieve proper function it is no longer about injury or pain but regaining and maintaining activity and fitness.
Ed is a highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable chiropractor, a specialist with AXA-PPP and BUPA and most insurers for cervicogenic headaches, neck pain, low-back and disc nerve compressions.
Dr Ed (Chiropractor) has vast clinical experience effectively treating neck and shoulder pain, arm pain, chest rib and thoracic pain, lower back pain and sciatica, as well as coccyx / tailbone pain and a wide variety of wrist, knee and ankle conditions.
Edward’s brilliant treatment skills provide safe and effective chiropractic techniques to suit any age and treatment preference and most patients feel great relief from his careful and measured spinal manipulation, while others need lower force techniques to no manipulation at all.

When a chronic back and groin injury stopped me from training with the GB squad, I received treatment from tons of different Physios, Chiros and Osteopaths without any success. Only when a teammate told me to see his “miracle worker/chiropractor” Bob Griffiths at Pro Performance Clinics, did I see truly breathtaking results. His treatment techniques were so effective I was back to full-time training within 2 weeks, fully fit and stronger than before. I cannot thank him enough, his expert skill, knowledge and relaxed manner are why I trust him 100%.
